Ratty Bob

this is my second build.
it is my first 4-stroke.
the people that sold me the
engine kit told me the 4-stroke
would not fit in that frame.
it was not easy, it fit barely
but it did. I am building
micro Bobs for it now.
the Bobs will hold about
1/2 gallon each side.

That is a very clever build and it all looks so beautiful. Can you tell us the host frame? Is it a Nirve? Also have you got anything to stop the bike other than a rear coaster brake? i.e. anything on the front end like a brake hub?

The more I look, the more I'm concerned about the front fender. How does it pivot? If you use loctite on the nuts and shims on either side of the braces you can probably get away w/ a light friction fit. Watch out that your fender braces where they are rivoted/bolted to the fender do not crack/break; no sense gettin a face fulla asphalt! You can isolate vibration w/ the use of some rubber arrandellas, if they are rivots pop'm out and use bolts. I've heard a lot about front fenders and bad accidents; be careful out there!
