Hmm, you should fit a speedo, that way you'd know **exactly** how fast your going! :)

Now that my bike is going good, my current thinking is that i'll be there!

Got an update or two for my project as well, which I think you'll like Will, Just need to nut out a few minor details

not going fast

I feel how fast my bike needs to go,
rather than worry about how fast I'm going.
I'm not likely to break the speed limit ;-)

I shouldn't jinx myself about breaking down,
by talking about it.

On monday morning, the best day of the week (NaaoooooohT!)
I ride off a gutter and whammo, break a bottom back wheel strut.
took me about two blocks to notice.

I attach a picture of said strut.

KJP has offered me a welder to blow myself up with....

fredie, I went hunting for links on Bikeforce ?

see below is this them ?

ooohhh bad spot...

Could be welded easily enough though. Area would need to be perfectly clean though

yeah, well clean is not my forte.
in fact i'd say I err towards the dirty end of the spectrum.

I do have a can of degreaser tho.
which strips off my bad paint jobs.

so I'll need to pickup the Mig welder this week....

ok,
I love to ride in the wet, some people don't.

FSAAA and I talked about calling the day off if its going to rain,
he don't like it wet.
I'm a surfer from way back, so all forms of water hold no fear for me.

So, looking at a few web links,

http://www.seabreeze.com.au/graphs/nsw.asp

and

http://weather.smh.com.au/local.jsp

We may have a low chance of rain come June 14th.

Who is in if its wet ?

we are close enough now for predictions to actually be reasonably accurate.

anyone else have any good site for long range weather ?

maybe we should have a poll to see who will attend if its wet ???
