I’m noticing that the arm going into the engine has slop in it from side to side when I pull my clutch in and out. I can even grab the acorn nut and move it back and forth some. Is this wore out already or is there some kind of adjustment to tighten it up? I only have one tank of gas run through this thing. The picture shows the shaft I’m talking about.

I guess it’s the clutch cam and three hole drive sprocket case cover. Can these wear out that fast or is there something I can do to fix it?

Is it a new engine? If soo hit seller up for a replacement. If they are not greased it can prematurely wear the cover out. Or the clutch lever shaft could be worn. Order a complete cover with shaft.
