Need a CDI...

Timing is set with a key on the shaft that the magnet is on. The key goes between the crankshaft and magnet. No timing adjustment.

Having sheared several of these with the Grubee 4-Stroke clutch I used to have on my current bike...is this a problem with the 2-stroke engine on the crankshaft or transfer case?
 
Not that I'm aware of. I haven't sheared one on any I have as of yet.

Seems like I was shearing them almost every time I would ride...except if we locked in the clutch.

Am fixing to get dressed & head to church about 1/2 a mile away. After that...if it's not raining...filling up for the 10 mile ride out to the falls where the City of Twin Falls gets its name. After running out of gas on the 1st ride of the 4-stroke...am paranoid about making sure I have plenty of gas for any ride. :giggle:
