Help! 66cc bike wont start after running

Whats up y'all! Im josh and new here. So i just bought my first motorized bike!! Yay right!!?? Lol so when i can get it started in the mornings it runs great!!! But if i shut it off after a nice 30 minute ride it will not start up for nothing!! Ive noticed once the engine cools down the magneto cover is hot as hell!! Has anyone else had this problem? And what did you do to fix it? Im thinking its the magneto/ CDI i see they sell both on ebay for like $15. Please help lol

Does it have spark when it won't start? If it does, then it isn't the ignition (except in the extremely rare case of a CDI that loses timing when hot)

clean and gap the plug, lower the carb needle, clean the air filter

Took it out today. Fired right up. Went for a ride about 40mins and shut it off for like 20 mins 2 times and it fired right up.

could be a fouled plug, 2 strokes are notorious for this if ratio is bad .

totally off topic here but has anyone tried the modified voo-doo exhaust system by crmachine (fred) ?

Make sure your gas is on mine will run for almost a mile without gas lever in the flow position.
