New to this whole bike + motor thing. I've ridden bikes and motorcycles of all kinds all my life, well, at least 50 years of it anyway. For the last couple of years I've toyed with the notion of doing a motorized bike kit build. I have a few bikes to try it out on. I can't justify putting much money into it right now so I guess I joined this forum so that I might benifit from others experience. Hopefully I may be able to even contribute if I can. Thanks, from Pueblo Colorado.(Not really known for its bicycling community. But it's where I live).

Welcome!!
What kind of bikes do you have? Have you decided what engine you want?
I have a few good mountain bikes but am looking for a beach cruiser. I've searched the internet and the price range is crazy. I'm thinking one of the cheap kits for my first try. I also want to see if I can find a local shop. Thank you for your reply. I appreciate any input.

Welcome. Some of the guys on here have taken the time to read back through the threads sepearating the pearls from the patties and built some real nice bikes right out of the chute. Look forward to seeing where you go with the new toy. Recommend steel frame with front and rear V brakes. Disc is even better.

Thank you for your reply. I'm finding some great tips on this site. Somehow I feel like I'm cheating. But I promise to use this info and have fun with it 😃
