Fred Head Questions

Disconnect the kill button then try it. I had mine short out I unhooked it and it started right up.

Alright I'll consider that. Its gotta be something electrical I think

I did however change the spark plug boot because the fred head requires a smaller spark plug, so I need a smaller boot. I got this one, I don't see why it won't work.

Edit: I checked for spark and there was no spark

Ok, I fixed it, there were 2 wires that were disconnected. Must've been from dismounting the engine and moving it around.

Maaaaannnn!!!!!! My bike f***ing flies!!! The low end power is incredible!!

And It's definetely running too rich as expected, lots of 4 stroking at high rpms. Whenever I pull in the clutch, it shuts off the engine, it doesn't want to idle. The idle screw is pretty tight though. Don't know what's causing that

Edit: It just needed to warm up more, now it doesn't turn off when I pull in the clutch and it idles fine.

So, my drive sprocket squeaks a lot and is turning rough. I need to grease the bucking bar and actuator bearing inside it but I don't know what kind of grease to use. Did any of you guys had to do this, if so what type of grease did you use?

I use red n tacky grease on everything that requires grease.

Is it normal to have to pedal up to higher than usual speeds to get it to initially start up when its breaking in? I have to pedal down a slight decline for it to start. Otherwise I get no ignition.
