Castor oil question

I removed mine. I use a big star washer, with a tab or two bent out( in to the magnet key way), and a flat washer on top of it. Then the nut. It lets me set it at whatever. Just remember how you took the magneto out. lol, That one gets me every time.

Oh I've tried prying it. The spoons would fold in half. I tried vice grips and a nail remover. It didn't even phase it. It's not coming off gently I'm afraid.

I would strongly recommend staying far away from Castor oil as it leaves
a sticky deposit or residue over time. RC pilots have long ago abandoned
castor oil and now prefer semi or full synthetic lubricants which are clean
burning. The most favored fully synthetic lubricant is called Red Line two stroke
racing oil, here: https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/...nthetic-2-cycle-motor-oil-16-ounce/rl00/40603.
A second choice might be Lucas 2 stroke semi-synthetic, here:
Good luck.

Naw, you just have to get the right castor. Can't be using grannies poop pusher from the medicine cabinet.

I never have build up. Just a light oily residue that wipes away with a light finger press.

Never buy it from CVS or the likes. Try blenzall or klotz, or any of the better brands and you'll notice it's not the same stuff we used as kids in our smokers.

If you are getting hard deposits, you're running to lean. Not bad if racing, but if commuting or for fun, it's just killing your engine sooner.

I was interested in Dominator synthetic but couldn't find
a store that carries it.
