Most stay on the down-low in your your state (NY) since it isn't very motorized bicycle friendly. One person riding but obeying all traffic laws might not attract too much attention. Several riding together will certainly attract attention.

I don't know at least where I am they seem pretty laid back about it. I'm sure it's not that way in every county. There's a few dudes that do ride together every so often....
Most of these guys burn out bikes every couple of weeks though and are younger dudes.
I was more looking for local people to bounce ideas around with, or do builds, or swap extra parts ect. Like I have ALOT of extra stuff I'm never going to use , I've started putting some of it up on eBay but that can be a hassle. I just thought the idea of local guys helping each other out was cool...

Maybe you could contact some of the younger riders to teach them the importance of responsible riding and obeying traffic laws. As well as good cycling techniques.

Yeah I kinda took one guy under my wing a bit but he don't listen. I've basically given him 3 engines and he has destroyed all of them within 2 weeks.
That's why I don't have no smaller 2 stroke stuff left. Not to mention all the extra parts.
Funny though now that I'm in a situation none of these dudes are around much

I hope their bad behavior doesn't end up causing you a problem. From the local PD that'd normally overlook you.

You can, of course, always offer for sale any spare stuff you have to forum members as well...Just advertise what you would like to sell or swap in the forums and then Just make any sales agreements with each other privately through PM service that we have.
