very hard to get the involute correct , especially on small sizes. i have used a template with a pantograph mechanism to scale it down somewhat, but yikes, is it slow and tedious!
now i can make some little boxes with a couple of various ratios...main intention is to make a hobbing machine, then i can cut spiral/helicals easily. software wont cut them with a saw style cutter
shaped endmill only for spirals.
