And that also means without the reed valve too as you say your running a regular piston, not a windowed piston, required for a reed valve to operate.

It actually does run pretty well with a reed and regular piston so maybe you should do your research

Put your OE carb on and get it running for awhile before trying to soup it up. Then at least you know the electrics are right.

As soon as I put the windowed piston in it won't run why could that be

Most of the time it doesn't. The only reason yours worked better is likely due to a bad tune.
