I use it for bench starting. Works great.

Just curious, why don't you like beach cruisers?

I don't like curve of the top tube and height isn't usually the issue with fitting an engine. I like the sleek look of a diamond shaped frame like a road bike or vintage mountain bike.

Makes sense. I don't really like mountain bike MBs for similar reasons.

This is my second Ridgeyard build. The castings are well made. As these kits go, some parts may be substandard. I had to buy a replacement rag joint as the one that came with it was ground down and not flat.

I would also like to hear about the Ridgeyard kit.
100 bucks seems like a deal if it does ok.
