Another newbie

Hello,
Just signed up and hope to learn a bunch.
I build old style hot rods on the side and have for years.
I'd like to build a motorized bike based off either my '58 Schwinn Jaguar or my '39 skip-tooth Hawthorne with the end result looking similar to say a 1911 Excelsior flat track racer, but I want to use it for my daily commute.
Any help in tech or direction would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone local to KCMO?

Welcome to the site , I too learned alot from here prior to my build. I've had my bike going for almost 2 wks now, I rode it to work twice this week, sure makes going to work more fun, if that's possible.

I live in kck off I35 and Lamar and would be willing to help if needed, I'm no expert but always learning.
When you get it going I'ld be interested getting together for a ride
