Took the rolling chassis out for it's maiden run. Only had 60 lb. ballast load on it. I am very pleased with the handling. Nice to be able to lean into the turns.

Biggest problem is remembering to leave space on the right for the sidecar. Perhaps I should have put the sidecar on the left.

I now have started on the pod. It is rather basic should do the job.

Due to the great weather, I got the sidecar out for it's first complete test run.
It worked out pretty well except for one problem. The setup was made to allow the bike to lean seperate from the sidecar. Left turns were great, hardly any different than without the sidecar. However making right turns there is not enough room between the bike and the sidecar and would pinch your leg. I will extend the space between the bike and car and all should be well.

Sidecar

Took it out for a 3 hr. ride yesterday. Really rode well. I did feel a bit uncomfortable being about 3 ft further into traffic. What a great reaction from the public. Thumbs up everywhere, even by people passing me.

Nice job! I'm glad it turned out well. I've been threatening to build at sidecar for three years now. I guess if you have it a Jay's rally where I can look at it up close it'll finally give me the impetus to start one.
