Well, at least one thing i think we will all agree on, a bug out bike will never be an E-Bike for obvious reasons, being that infrastructure won't be intact for recharge purposes...lol...DAMIEN

I have a shift kit bike. It's one reason I want to make a shifting gear box for the other side. Two modes of transport, not intermingled.

Me personally would start with something heavy duty made for moving stuff like the worksman cycles... I wouldn't want a clumsy cart...
