You keep picking single tube off of the seat tube type frames. Not ideal for a Staton kit. Your frame will work but this type of frame works best for simplicity and strength for the ubracket mount. See the little support tube in between the 2 stays coming off of the seat tube? That tube usually has a hole centered in it. The center hole in the ubracket will mount to that and give you a perfect center for the ubracket. Won't let it move side to side. Vbrakes that mount lower on the stays are better than brakes that mount on a center bolt. Disc brakes work great too. You don't want your brakes interfering with your ubracket.
