One wire? Is the engine grounded to the frame? If so, you spent too much, all you needed was the wire.

The switch basically grounds the magneto to the frame just like the button. All this was in my junk box. I like the "click and forget" of a switch unlike holding the button down. That's just me.

You can kill the engine by just touching the bare wire on the frame. Some handle bars are a little crowded if you know what I mean?
