Clean and Polish Aluminum engine parts (for show)

What is the best cleaner / polish to use on the aluminum engine parts for making them look good for "show"?
My solution was glossy black paint job for my motor...lol...I don't ever want to have to clean aluminum motors ever again...lol.

Seriously though, someone should come along shortly who would know better than I...lol.

TAking the new whizzer to a small car show on Saturday at the church (fund raiser) so It looks great and is very clean but wanted to make it look its best. Likely the only one there.. they are including "motorcycles", so I will not be totally out of place

Show' is a million step process... Stick to one brand for consistency more or less it's all the same.... The more you polish the more you have to... Or paint it clear...

For aluminum you are going to want white polishing compound for final polish, blue for final polish/ mild cutting compound. If you need cutting compound you want red or black compound. If your aluminum is in real bad shape sand the aluminum piece with 400 grit sandpaper in one direction where it looks like straight line sand Mark's, then hit with blue polishing compound then move to your white polishing compound. Presto like a mirror!!! If you need to know what pads for the different compounds, just shoot me a reply back.

Riskman if you just need to hand polish, these 2 are hands down the best liquid polish & sealant. Zephyr#1 & roadworks#2 both of these are amazing but a lil pricey, but does awesome job at polishing & super nice for its sealing capabilities.

Yes, for this round just looking for something quick and easy to make it look better than it does which is pretty good. Was concerned about what I use and then running the engine ( I was planning on riding it there as it is only 10 minutes away).
