This is a 1200 WATT 1.5 HP 48 VDC Reversible Permanent Magnet Electric Motor. They are all new with super strong neodymium permanent magnet that make them highly compact and powerful. ...so maybe there is a new batch of cheap Chinese motors with higher quality than the Unite? 1.5 HP is pretty darn good for one of these little motors and would compare favorably with the high priced Magmotors that run into the hundreds of dollars.
Or it's an ebay scam...
