Also, are you using the choke to start it???...You only need the choke on for about 15 to 30 seconds on a cold start.When I first start my bike, it runs slowly at low rpm. I have to pull in the clutch and rev it at WOT for it to start hitting high RPM. It like shakily increases RPM (vroomVROOMVROOMvroomvroomVROOMvroomVROOMVROOMVROOM)
Is this just it warming up or do I need to do some tuning?
I put the little needle all the way rich. And I switched out the main jet for a #65.
Choke is on for a second only when it first starts. After that, it has no choke at all.
What is your elevation?
According to google, my elevation here in Suwanee, GA is 1,004′
Stock carb???...Why a 65 jet, why all the way rich???...If it is not starting/running right, its all wrong.
Go back to #70 jet and place needle valve C clip into the center groove and then try it all over again.
I thought stock it was a little bit rich, so I put in a #65. For the needle I was told engines need to be rich at low throttle.
