Just got a used tubing notcher for 20 bucks. I ran a few test notches and it works great. Maybe I should order some parts and build a bike from scratch lol.

If you can cut good angles, you don't need a notcher.

Sweet, must make life easier. I spent a lot of quality time w my angle grinder on the bmx build.

Oh yeah, it takes a minute or 2 to cut a notch, much faster than the angle grinder.

I got some really nice fitment on these pieces. I will have 1 more and nothing is quite in place yet, but here is the main thing I got the notcher for. I need to order some more metal and a clutch before I start welding. I got a job fixing a fourwheeler for one of my teachers that I'm gonna use the cash from to buy the clutch.

If anyone is building a custom frame I highly recommend spending the 50 bucks at harbor freight for one of these. I bought mine used for 2 bucks, but it is the harbor freight one and it works great. I paid 50 bucks for my hole saw set though lol
