I'm about to take a long spell from my drivers licence (hence the username!), i'm too much of a lazy cnt to pedal around everywhere so i'm going to wack one of those ebay kits on an old mountain bike i have.
I have a little history with motorised bikes. When i was a squirt, we used to fab up brackets to suit brush cutter engines to BMX bikes.
They were direct drive with a skateboard wheel attatchet to the drive shaft. I also went to a local machine shop & had a stainless wheel made (wanted the edge on my mates!)
They worked a treat, but the tyres would wear quickly...it was the 90's & thats all we had!
