I have no idea but I have an old makita compressor that refuses to die. I'm a Carpenter and it gets abused and have been running it almost every day for hours on end for 15 years. Gets an oil change once a year if I remember and never skips a beat

Sure enough it is on that sticker above the pullstart it says eho35. I thought subaru discontinued their small engine line back in 2017 so who knows. I had a genuine subaru 4 years ago, wish I didn't sell it

fuji Robin makes the engine and I'm pretty sure the parent company was subaru.

Up until 2017 Fugi Heavy Industries LTD of Japan was actually the parent company of Subaru...It is now all under the Subaru name.

Makita is not owned by any other corporation or parent company, they are an entity all its own....It is possible they simply bought the rights from Subaru for the EHO, Robin engines.

Will, before you get all excited about it and buy one. Consider the GX50 clone coming or the real GX50. The extra hp makes a huge diff on a bicycle, HUGE! Makes you smile 2 inches wider when riding.

I don't think the package is moving and it's been a week so far. Said delivery by the 16th of january. First he forgot to add tracking and then it just said label made/ ups doesn't have it and nothing since.
