What size chain would this be? I don't find any markings. This is my new project. I'm mounting this two stroke 49cc onto a mountain board that has been sitting in my garage for years.

I just don't have the desire to ride on something that doesn't have brakes.

Looks like it might be 30 chain, but I'm no chain expert
A 35 would be 3/8 between pin centres and roller width of 3/16. hard to tell with that tape but it seems less than 3/8. Maybe ditch the chain and sprocket and get one that matches the motor sprocket.

One time on a skate board I was going down into a parking lot and hit the drain grate at the bottom. That was the end of my skate boarding and almost the end of me. I couldn't imagine one with a motor but it wouldn't be me riding it so fly at it.

On a further note, that little motor doesn't look like it has any reduction at all, just a centrifugal clutch off the end of the crank. One thing for sure, it will be suicide fast.

How could I reduce it? This is just a project. I would most likely kill myself using this. I can't even roller skate. It's just been sitting around my garage begging me to do something with it. I'll get it going and probably sell it.
