Phantom 85 gasket

It’s official guys, my p85 sprung a leak already, the gasket under the jug is leaking, not even 20 miles on the motor.
Hopefully you have been retorquing the cylinder bolts after every single heat cycle for at least the first 200 miles.

This must be done because the threading where the studs go in will keep expanding and contracting which in turn loosen up on you and will cause the gaskets to leak and loss of compression.

If you haven't done it, they WILL be loose.

That torque adjustment must only be done once the motor is totally cold again and must be performed in an X pattern.
