Phatmoto Rover Potential

Im wondering what do you guys think is the fastest the stock 79cc Lifan engine can get to with the right mods and upgrades on a phatmoto rover? Also with the right gearing as well, curious to know how fast the rover can go

Afaik, only one cvt kit ( www.24hrfun.com/series-30-cvt-belt-drive-kit-fits-phatmoto-79cc/ ) has the potential ability to achieve good top speeds with the *stock* lifan, as OP asked about. And it's been out of stock since shortly after its introduction. The common cvt kits, being rated for no less than 3hp, cannot get into the 'overdrive' range due the low horsepower of the lifan (2.5hp irl).

The 20 series torque converters aren't as lousy but those are very hard to find.

I have a mini chopper with a 79cc PA/HF type motor with a TAV, it goes pretty good. I have no speedo, but over 30 for sure.
