proposed project! need advice and help!

I've already got the bike (BMX, haro backtrail x3 with 20 inch wheels) and i want to install a 50cc 2 stroke mini dirtbike engine with a centrifugal clutch. the pinion gears are around the 10-14 teeth mark and the sprocket is around 50-54 teeth.

What i basically want to know is will it work?! i weigh 10stone and the bike would have to go up pretty steep hills on the daily ride. oh and how fast i can expect it to go!

I just did. Searched for "BMX" and it said nothing was there which i find a little hard to believe lol

How about pics of the bike and the motor? If you want to rack-mount, read Haggard's tutorial.
