Just a heads up for anyone in the future that may attempt a build on this frame. A HT motor won’t fit. It’s a great looking bicycle though. I almost kept it because it’s the most comfortable bike I’ve ever owned, but I don’t have the space for another bike that can’t be motorized.

That sucks. I was looking at one of those and I was afraid that was the case. It's a great looking bike.

Why won't it work?

ITAWAG that the filled in area makes the tank hard to install and the frame is a bit smallish in the front triangle space.

This would be a bike worth saving the components off of and buying a better sized frame and swapping the parts over.

That guys cylinder is still on normal and his head let's the spark plug go out the rear. Looks like he's running some thin air cleaner maybe. Looks bigger than the frame i made work.

Needs a low profile filter and custom tank straps, but can be made to work.

My Mongoose Mack was a tight fit. I had to shape the front motor mount to fit the frame and shorten the intake about 1/2" but I got it in there. Where there's a will, there's a way.

I plan on doing a Schwinn Kokomo for my next project. If that thing in the upper frame is metal that would be perfect. I will fab up 4 right angle brackets and the gas tank will be really solid.

The Mack has disc brakes front and rear so I went with a jack shaft but the Kokomo will probably be direct drive, I just have to see what is there to mount a sprocket to. I have a sample Zeda Firestorm on its way from China to power the Kokomo.
