Spedometer help!!

I bought one of those cheap Bell spedometers today at Walmart. It works fine when I peddle and coast but as soon as the motor goes on it bugs out. Sometimes it will work but usually freezes or resets repeatedly. Does anybody know much about these and how to get it right?

external magnetism may be throwing it off.

I too had the same problem, as far as i know their is nothing that can be done. I think it is either vibrations or what bigbike said, external magnetism

Well I'm glad I didn't spend much then. It does work while the motor runs but not everytime. I've been doin some searching n found a couple things. Not much but might be something worth looking into. Will post up if I find something that works.

I got the wired Schwinn version at Walmart. It works great all I've ever had to do was replace the battery. Had to go to Walgreens to get the battery Walmart didn't carry it.

And to think I almost got that one too. Sometimes going with your instinct instead of your wallet is the better choice lol
