I need this size sprocket but for my smaller chain. Do I measure from top of the teeth or just the hub? The bolt holes are size M7. How is the span between lug bolts measured ? Always great info here. Thank for the help with everything.

That sprocket looks OK to me, is there something wrong with it? Measure across the bolt holes, from the right side of one to the right side of the next to get the most accurate measurement.
It works fine. I need the same size sprocket but for a smaller chain.
