Stand alone Clutch

get a shifter kit from sickbikeparts. i built my own and i can take off up a decent hill withoput pedaling and then shift 6 times to a top speed so far of 47 mph and i can still climb the steapest of hills.

Those chain drive kits looks great, but I chose a Felt 1903 Single speed as a bike, so they wouldn't do much for me.

As for a transmission, yes, it is sort of what I need, although My actual moped is 50cc, and has no transmission. a 1 speed, and the clutch is a full lock type centrifugal (torque sensing, not speed) with a tiny 1/8 inch thick clutch thats held up for 30 years

Try it out with a happy times. The one I had could start up from a stop, although it helps to push a little on the pedals. It did need pedalling help when starting uphill.

If you want no pedaling, a 4 stroke 50cc is the direction you want to go.

Is there any such thing as a 4 stroke that will fit in the frame between normal spaced pedals?
