When I think road bike I think of a racing style bike. Like the tour de France guys

I prefer hybrid bikes over cruisers. The main issue is, a lot of parts are made for cruiser frames since they are so popular. The gas bike frames with the integrated fuel tank are al cruiser based, so that's where the aftermarket went. Even the Phantom 85 exhaust is built to be used on a cruiser frame, so it makes fitment on normal bikes a pain in the butt.

Nice bike. The basic "get you around" bike. I've done a few of those, but only one small frame.
I get around too...lol...It's tough on a MB to try to pick up on the ladies though...lol.

I got most of my center stand fabricated. I'm waiting for it to cool down so I can mount it and try it. I'll bost some pictures once I'm finished
