Thoughts on GasBike hub adapter?

The idea isn't that the hose clamp is going to aid in clamping down the sprocket, it just keeps the plates and the rubber spoke clamps centered. Like I said, it simply does the centering and some of the truing of the sprocket for you. It still works off the rag joint method, not like a hub clamp adapter which clamps to the hub the to rotate the wheel.
 
So all the power is still being transfered through the left side spokes, just greatly decreases the time it takes to perfectly center the sprocket.

Exactly, I mean it PROBABLY assists the rag joint in power transfer to some degree by nature of clamping to the hub but that's not its use nor should it be used like that else ye risk many dead spokes and real messed up day.

Buying convenience for those who don't have the time to waste tuning sprockets basically.
