Waiting on UPS to bring my first kit (Grubee Skyhawk 48cc) to arrive. I will be putting it on a late 80's Giant mountain bike I picked up at a Goodwill at an obscene price for its condition. I am hoping this will be a functional motorized bike for under $200.00. I am sure I will be pestering everyone for advice (and I am sure I will not keep the budget...but here is to hoping).

grubee motors are great quality... if the bike is good should be thousands of miles of fun. Be sure to break the engine in correctly and use good quality oil.

You stand a darn good chance of keeping within your budget, excluding various accessories that you'll want but can get later.

That's the beauty of happy time engines.

Have fun and keep us posted.
