So long story short, about a year ago I purchased a 66cc engine off eBay, 0-10, would never do again. SO many issues with the kit, the worst of which was a piston that was to big to actually cycle. B4 I noticed this, it had stripped the wingnut and scattered the bearing to s***. Took a month to get my refund. I was so disheartened, i havent tried again. Recently, I have decided to give it another try, but I want to make sure I get a good engine this time. I am planning to make my purchase in about 4 days from this post, and was all set to buy from bikeberry, but I came across a thread while browsing here that didn't shed a pretty light on them... so i checked around on google, and while there is some good reviews, (I avoided bikeberry itself, too biased), there's also a bunch of bad ones. So can anyone recommend a good place to get a 66cc 2 cycle engine kit that has good odds of receiving it with no defective parts? I want one for $150 or less if possible, my budget it $200 and I want to get a spring tensioner at the same time I get the kit. Too many horror stories about the crap that come with most kits getting sucked into the spokes. I also want a cnc 32 or 36 tooth sprocket but I don't expect that to be within my price range, so I wouldn't be ordering that for at least a few weeks after I have the original kit. Right now I just need some suggestions on reasonably priced quality kits. I will at a later date replace the head, carb, exhaust, and maybe a few other tweaks to improve performance, so standard stock kits are fine, as long as they have good rep for sending non defective goods. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I found this one, looks good, has anyone bought from this site b4?

Look for CDH, JLZeda or Runwell. Bicycle Motor Works has always been a great vendor.

Lol run well was one I was just looking at. I posted a command link, but it hasn't approved as of this post, and obviously not b4 you posted. Though it will be by the time this does, lol. The one i picked comes with a spring tensioner as well as a smaller sprocket, though I'll still need to get a cnc one at some point to save my spokes the wear.

I linked the same kit, good one. Missed your link the first time around lol

I really like the look of this kit, comes with a better carb and tensioner, that alone will save me money, I may even be able to squeeze a cnc sprocket into my budget without going over too much with this kit. I believe it's the one I'll probably go with.

Honestly you could probably email him and see if he can help you out. He may be able to work a deal with the adapter. $5 off code is NEXT
