Ram air does indeed effect pressure inside the case and contributes to top speed.

There is nothing to figure out, the facts speak volumes literally. Real information is what helps others to achieve their goals, For you or anyone to come on here and tell us something that is NOT true helps no one! Sorry your not well enough informed or educated on this subject but the facts are proven and have been known for quite some time now, I'm glad you like your setup as that's all that really matters, I just can't let a myth get posted to have the unknowing be fooled by BS.
Dude ur higher than a space turd if you think a none modded stock china girl is gonna do 50 with a 217 lb rider. U need to take a phercocet and go lay down

Don't mean to burst your bubble jay, but i am already doing it, at least a couple times...lol...still cleaning racing stripes from undies...lol...Im much happier traveling at 30 to 35 MPH even though my bike actually does do the speed previously posted...Its not rocket science to be able to do this with a stock Zeda 80 with the ceramic lined cylinder and with the right "tweaks" as also mentioned previously...This can Absolutely be done with stock engines...That is, IF you know what your doing...DAMIEN

IM the 217 pounder on the 80 pounder bike by the way...Not SR.

I am curious how a stock setup goes 50. Is it the gearing? This is my engine I modified a lot and I didn't even break the 40 mph barrier yet. I do have a lot of torque though which is why I ask about the gearing. But still..... 50?? My stock engine went 30mph properly jetted with a 38t sprocket. I trust you're right StreetRyderz I just don't know how yet.

Mine is a 36 tooth sprocket and i replaced the stock airfilter with the one from sick bike parts previously mentioned on a previous post...got rid of the spoke wheels and using mag wheels, custom made the chains and eliminated the tensioner, threw out the chinese plug and replaced it with NGK, leaned out the NT carby because of my altitude of 4500 ft etc. etc. etc....it takes a little time and effort of tinkering with things but its fine tuned for my dryer desert environment and riding style...My last 21 years before retirement was as an ASE Certified Master Mechanic...I should hope i learned something through all those years...lol...DAMIEN

Ps...I found the Zeda 80 to be superior to the run of the mill GT5 and PK80 motors...especially with the ceramic lining of its cylinders...start with a really good motor, At least as far as CGs can be, and the rest is easier to accomplish.

That is spelled "Percocet" by the way...No "H" in its name...lol.
Sorrry dont know my drugs but i know when a post goes off topic cause someone just wants to butt heads. My ram air gave me more top speed thats all im saying dont care how or why. Just wanted others to know their is speed to be gained by doing this.

Look I used to have a bike that shifted 7 gears automatically. I was told it wouldn't work, yet it did work. Over the years I found ways to make it work even better. What I want you to walk away with is ways to incorporate what you've learned here to make your system work even better.

I realise what your saying.

And what i was saying is that with a good motor and some expertise in automotive mechnics and skill and knowing how to tweak things, Those on the lower end of the financial scale can achieve similar results with stock setups...lol...its all good...DAMIEN
