How long can "China doll" hold at WOT? Also, high altitude (+gear reductions and "too lean?")

If you can't fix the high idle, then you have an air leak. Did you try misting the carb and intake with water?
That and me acting fast not wanting my piston to melt lol. My peak was recorded at 399F and 7863 RPM. It seems like it keeps wanting to run away when I pull the clutch. I just reengage to stop it. Not too sure or high idle (I keep lowering the screw) because I won't let it run away again lol.

What is the danger zone?

PS. That last post was my 100th and the trophy I got for it: "Can't Stop!" lol! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I sprayed it after I put the new gasket. I didn't see (hear) anything different. It only does it above 320F and still dies with the kill switch or choke. It idles ~2400 RPM below 300F (I can adjust the idle down until it dies with its rich self), but races when hot, up to acting like 1/4 throttle when I pull the clutch hot, not quite WOT. So, I guess she didn't run all the away!

You have to spray it when the incident occurs, you might have to pack a bottle around with you on rides.

I think my plug was just loose; I mean It was slightly loose, so I tightened it, but IDK If that was the cause. Regardless, its back to acting super rich and couldn't idle for a millisecond, as I had turned down the screw when it was fast. I turned it to idle okay, but when I got hot, >325°F, fast Idle, but I packed a little screwdriver, so I turned it down a little and no more running away to high idle.

So, must I tune the idle to my desired operating temp? Also, what is CG redline temperature??? I can't find a numerical answer here or anywhere.

I have mentioned in the past in the forums that idle can be very erratic during the breakin period...Yours is also a little more complicated with your mile high altitude plus running a richer mix during the breakin period.

Your gonna have to be patient with it until its broken in, and then change your ratio to 32:1, and probably lean out the carby to either the top notch, or second from the top notch on your needle valve to account for that altitude.

How long do you break in your engines, since you're only 20 stories below me? I'm on the third tank and about 180km.

What brand and size motor is that again?

Did you mean 111.8 miles???...lol. We are both in the same state in the same USA...lol.
Yes, my mechanical speedo/odo is in metric lol. It's a PEXMOR 66cc (80, as you say, "Chinese centimeters" lol) slant head CG; this one.

You should be fine when you finish off the third tank then.

Ps...If I were in Europe or Canada, I would have KM speedo...I went with a magnetic, wireless, digital speedo so I can swithc it to MPH...lol...I have seen others here in Alamogordo, that had the analog speedos on their little rat machines and all of them blew due to the higher speeds we achieve.

That little spin thingy on the spoke wheel that revolves with the wheel is the thing that just blows apart...lol.

Sounds good then. I just got chased by a pedal biker "ay bro, where did you get that engine?" that whole song. I helicoiled the original engine and put it on a bike for a customer already. I like my speedo other than it being metric. I've put too much modding into it to let it go for a digital, even if it isn't pinpoint accurate. Since I have an 80's bike, the 0-80 Km/H range is reminiscent of the automobile speedos of the time that had an 0-80 MPH range. Mira:
