2 Engines, 1 Bike....2WD...Ludicrous Acceleration

Say Low,
Remember when you mentioned using a 24" or 26" rim sheave on my belt drive?
Well, I tried it with a 24" to get more low end. It works just peachy. Check it
out. What looks like a Bell pannier is a flow-thru, louvered stealth cowling. The
engine is running in the pic, GX35, super quiet. There's an HS142 it the trailer
for the steep stuff.

With governments imposing draconian legislation against motorized bicycles, people are going to need to get creative at disguising the engine.

The pannier method is an excellent way of achieving such an effect

all you need is a couple tags that say "All Wheel Drive"
would make off road biking interesting, with small drive rollers.
i guess when i get my load of tanakas (3) i should build something like this..

looks awesome,btw.

Rawly,
Looks really good.
I like your fork mount hitch/receiver.
Would like to see some more close ups of your belt drive side.

Here ya go.Low:
It's a Staton frik turned 'round with engine mount on the right, good kit but 9 mos.
a yr. here roads are just too wet & gooey for even the best frik kit. So, I took an
8" x 5/8" bolt and cut off the head. With a grinder and dremel, I took down one end
to 3/8" and threaded it to receive the clutch drum. Then I just bolted the pulley to
tuther end. The belt only clears the whl. & caliper by 3/32" on either side, but it's
enough.
Another look at the trailer shows how I offset the old fork to line up on center.
Rubber bushings serve as a shock. It mounts to clevis pins which also support
the engine stays. Note the parking brake. Initially I thought it was heavier than
the all steel "B.O.B.",but it's actually lighter. Still, the epoxied plywood & alu
reinforcement make it plenty strong.

Rawly,
That looks awesome...
I recently converted my 3 MB's to friction.
Dax has a new kit available with 1.5" one way rollers & I bought the 2 pack special that I am liking.

Oh yeah, Fabian:
About that cowling, the inside was made with thin alu sheet. Besides
the flo-thru net there are louvers hidden behind the blue flap & a scoop
that forces exhaust down out the bottom. Inside the blue flap is a sheet
of 1/8" sound baffling like that used in auto firewalls. My coffee grinder
makes more noise.

Low,
Just checked out the dax fric deal you mentioned. looks like a great deal
with lotsa extras. Too bad I live in a primeval rainforest where moss will
grow on your beard if you stand still to tie your shoe laces. I'm starting
to form webs between my fingers and toes. That ain't hair on Bigfoot;
he's just some guy who stood out in the rain too long.
Fabian, if draconian mean pointless persecution of the environmentally
sound at the expense of liberty, you could be right.

they are write-offs from work, old retired water pump motors.the mechanic was going through them before he turns em over to me.
i had a choice of 25 or 45 cc's.
i opted for 3 45's.i mentioned i would take all i could get.
i want to build a few bikes, maybe start my own gang....
