When was the last time you adjusted the valves? Something to look at anyway. If the engine is two years and NEVER had the valves adjusted, I'd say it's about time. They do loosen some after a while. But it could also be a clogged low speed jet. I just had about the same thing happen to a customer build cause I was running it without a fuel filter for a minute for testing. It don't take much to clog a carb. So adjust the valves and clean out the cab. I think you'll find it runs again.
