6.5hp push trailer....version 1.0

Where are you guys getting your Pillow block bearings from? They look like 5/8 but the bearing store only has 1" in the cast housing. Im trying to peice to gether a jack shaft and im still researching gear ratios for my 2.5. Znsane suggetsed 10T-14T-12T-30T for the kind of speeds im looking to acheive. But im haveing a hard time finding a #40 chain 30tooth sprocket.

Hey Graucho, I noticed in a past thread you posted a pic of a freewheel sprocket on a jack shaft. Does that mean its a freewheel like a bicycle wheel sprocket? Where did you get that one from or is it custom?

I just order my jackshaft setup parts from GoKartparts.com. Im not going to use the pillow blocks after all.

Thanks

That would be in the best itemized parts list I have ever seen....

HaHa thanks you two!
Rgvkid,
Well here's the link, but it needed a little "trick", to get it to "click" :giggle:

threadless,

1. Ok here it is.... my jackshaft is .75" (3/4") which is 19.05mm.
2. Now the freewheel advertised is a 20mm inside dia. freewheel.
3. How do you make up the .95mm (extra 1 mm)?
4. Here is the trick... (ive done this on at least over 30 rides so far up to 300cc's) "Metal tape."
5. The link below is the tape im talking about. The photo below shows more detail.

6. I have a half a roll left, if you decide to try this send me a PM with your address and i'll send you 8"
Take care...graucho.
