Are all pull starts equally bad?

On a whim I ordered a pull start from monster scooter and what I received was better than what I saw on eBay and the other online sellers. No plastic but will it be acceptable? Will it last? Are all pull starts garbage?

Is the rope cheep on yours? ya might want to replace that. I hear the handles always break too. Another thing ya might wanna be ready to replace
