Are spark plugs important for high rpm?

2 stroke valves = pressure waves traveling at the speed of sound. Way cooler than a stick with a spring on it.

God forbid I want valves to control my intake and exhaust instead of letting voodoo and holes do it. Ha!

Voodoo.. when you think about it there is something magical about the simplistic way a 2 strokes works.

Definitely, just because there are fewer parts, doesn't mean it isn't very complex, it's very easy to mess it up in engineering.

The simplest practical engine I know of is the Rotary, aside from the shape, it's basically a spinning gear with pockets to suck, squeeze, bang, blow.

You can always mod the stock exhaust. Cut the tube inside then drill holes in the cap. That's what I did and it improved the power greatly
