If your float tang is bent down, keeping your float from rising to close the float plunger, or maybe it's not bent enough, then your float plunger is not seating properly and causing your carb to flood, flow the fuel freely.
Ok I got it to go for a short while and actually propelled me forward for about 10 seconds then cut out and I can’t get it to really even pop now and the only thing I changed was the float height I bent the prongs down ever so slietly
Here's a picture of a correctly set NT Carburetor. Note the the end's of the float tangs should be level and so should base of the float needle and the needle tangs. If the float height or base of the float tangs or needle tangs are not level flooding or over rich mixture will occur. This also will effect going up or down hill's where it can also lean or richen the mixture depending on angle and how much throttle is used.
