chain drive kit for honda gx35 engine beside staton kit

hello forum
i was wondering if there is any chain drive kits around the internet for sell i know there is staton but was looking for cheaper alternative.
thank u i have the engine honda gx35.
your suggestions is much appreciated.

my first thought exactly.

belt drive is good too. v belt allows for a slip-belt clutch, which reduces width ;) and you can remove the starter, thats a few more inches gained in width...


ie, ride some kits and you will get an idea of why im so concerned about this seemingly insignificant issue, width...
 
I would recommend you go with the Staton kit. I have one and it has proven to be trouble free for over 9 years. I do not know how many miles I have on my bike but I would guess way more than 10,000. This is a well built kit. Talk to David and see if you can just buy the gearbox only and use your own engine. This will save you lots of money.
 
i just checked the staton site and you can get 39 lb of pecans for 65 dollars!!!!!!

seriously....right down the bottom ;)
