My chain got bound up in the gear in the casing of the engine and locked up the back tire. Luckily I wasn't going very fast. However, in my checking the engine I found that the clutch arm that pushes against the pin and ball bearing was slightly bent. If I straighten that arm would there be a problem that I am creating down the road. Like would that weaken that arm and later break. Should I replace it as soon as I can or not run it at all. Any thoughts?

Just tighten the cable a little bit and don't worry about the bend, some factory ones already have a bend. Unless it's interfering with something else.
