Clutch wont disengage

hi all my new motor the clutch wont disengage the arm has to be right under the carb for it too disengage and move the bike any ideas to fix the clutch arm

open clutch cover, take out little screw that locks the flower nut, push clutch arm toward carb until flower nut is loose enough to turn it by hand to loosen it more - let arm go back and see if it is about straight back along seam of drive cover, if not do it again

So the flower nut might be too tight thanks
