Solder did not cause that problem, i would say you lost a wrist pin clip at 1 time or the other.

The wrist pin bearing fits nicely on the piston pretty snug not much slop if any.

I'll be starting off fresh with a triple 40. It's better this way. I never intended to use this set up. I had the gt80clone kit and the key slot for the woodruff key striped out. So I had to use my fm80 then I finished port my jug here and swapped them out. What I don't understand is going from having to lower the not use any gaskets to get a squench of 1.0 to now I have two a and like 3 copper gaskets stacked up with a base gasket and I'm still not clearing TDC. Or now the piston portrudes 3 mm out of the top of the cylinder. Top of the piston crown to the top of the wrist pin is 16mm and none of the makes sense.

There are 2 type pistons, A or B. A has a low pin position and B has a high pin position.

The jug is for a 38mm or the fm80 even the 40mm stroke jug won't clear. It's weird because I assembled the engine checked the squench .8-.9 put rtv on everything let it sit 5 minutes. I put everything together finger tightened it all went to bed and woke up this morning and tightened all down. Turn the motor over so I could begin checking the squench and clank bottomed out before TDC 3mm.
