i checked the rings they are new. The kit never ran.... I installed them so the gap lines up with the notches in the piston head.....

It has to be your head gasket then.

are you saying 2 stroke is worse for start fluid. Ive done so with 4 stroke and nothing bad happened....

Have you put a table spoon of gas down the plug hole, put the plug back in then started it? After you get a gasket sorted out try that.

Nothing that you can see from the outside! It's all around not good and you honestly should never need it on a gas engine.

I don't think a silicone or paper gasket will hold up to explosion pressures.

yeah your right, i will give it a shot then..... i dont have a coke can in the house, lol. should have ordered a 3018 cnc. they are on ebay for 150 dollars. Then i could just have cnc cut out the gasket out of copper sheet to perfect tolerances
