Direction of the bottle?

Hi MB'ers,

Wondering if the boost bottle would do the best pointed downward, of course some ware on bike above the carb.

I wondered that myself, but on my bike it would be awkward. Also, is it required to be cylindrical?

I don't think so..just make sure the hose from the intake and bottle is as short as it can be (the hose adds volume) and no restrictions. Placement on all three I made and installed are much the same as this one..
