Does anyone know if these actually help with performance?

For increased performance it's porting, windowed piston with Reed valve and upgraded ignition and just for laughs a expansion chamber type exhaust.

I have one of those intakes on my bike. It helps if you are a little tight on space. It doesn't seem to help performance at all.
